Florida State flipped 2020 offensive tackle prospect Robert Scott from Ole Miss yesterday. This is a huge pick-up for the ’Noles, though offensive tackle remains a position of need. New Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin briefly tweeted his petty reaction to Scott flipping before deleting it. However, the internet never forgets (open the tweet to see):

A highly sought-after 2021 safety has FSU in his top ten, but he could be a tough pull from an in-state rival.

Also, I like the production value here, pretty good stuff.

Florida State made Sports Illustrated’s Way-Too-Early Top 25 for next season? For once maybe this really is way too early. What do you think?

Odds to win the 2020 Heisman Trophy were released yesterday, and a Seminole QB made the list, but maybe not the first one that comes to your mind. How do you feel about 100 to 1 odds?

Your No. 5 Men’s Basketball team, fresh off defending its home court against Notre Dame, held steady in the polls but suffered some movement in the KenPom and NET rankings.

In other news, Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey faced some discipline for his post-game salty comments about the referees (who were indeed bad) despite his team having a 2-to-1 edge in free throw attempts, earning the school a $20,000 fine. Good job Mike!

The updated recruiting rankings for the 2020 basketball class have been released and a phenom Seminole commit jumped a couple spots:
