Two newcomers speak on day two of FSU football’s spring ball

Texas A&M RB transfer Jashaun Corbin spoke to the FSU media for the first time today. He discussed the state of his hamstring and being ahead of schedule in his rehab. Corbin also mentioned the process of transferring to Florida State after being committed to the ‘Noles in high school. The running back also talked about his quick connection with Mike Norvell after hitting the transfer portal:

Asante Samuel, Jr. has dominated the first two days of spring practice. He spoke to the media for the first time this spring after practice. The junior discussed the development of Warren Thompson and Carlos Becker III. He also raved about defensive coordinator Adam Fuller’s energy. The cornerback dropped the soundbite of the day saying, “You gonna see a big difference on the team in general, just off the little details that we were missing and I feel like it’s going to take us a long way. That’s what we’re kind of missing, discipline and details.”

The punter from down under spoke to the media for the first time today. Alex Mastromanno described the adjustments to American football, and the training he did before coming to the United States.
