Florida State football, recruiting news: Coronavirus won’t halt the ACC Tournament

Plus, FSU baseball shuts out no.1 UF in Gainesville.

Football:

In case you missed it, our Brett Nevitt was in attendance for the second day of spring practices, capturing all the highlights on the day.

Following practice, two new faces to the Florida State roster, RB Jashaun Corbin and Aussie Punter Alex Mastromanno spoke to the media, as well as veteran corner Asante Samuel Jr.

It’s still early in spring practices, but HC Mike Norvell spoke on the importance of stressing on even the smallest of details.

Raymond Woodie III came out of the second practice with two interceptions and was recognized by his defensive coordinator for his efforts:

Amari Gainer and Jamarcus Chatman also forced turnovers on the day:

Baseball:

Dominant pitching propelled FSU Baseball to a shutout win over rival UF, snapping their losing streak and handing the no. 1 Gators their first loss of the season.

Basketball:

With news that the Ivy League tournament was cancelled due to coronavirus concerns, the ACC assures fans that they plan for the tournament to go on as planned while switching post-game media availability away from locker rooms:

Recruiting:
