Meiko Dotson is a 5’11 195 pound cornerback from Daytona Beach, Florida.
He attended Mainland High School before moving on to Garden City Community College. After his time there, he chose Florida Atlantic University.
On Saturday night, Dotson announced his commitment to continue his college career by playing his final season for Mike Norvell’s Florida State Seminoles:

While at Florida Atlantic, Dotson was named all-Conference USA after leading the nation with nine interceptions, which was also a school record.
However, after the season, he decided to move on to greener pastures:
“After much thought and prayer,” Dotson said in a tweet. “I have decided that it’s best for me to enter the transfer portal and find a new home for my last year of eligibility as a grad transfer.”
He’s a graduate transfer, so he’ll have one season of eligibility remaining and will be able to play immediately for Adam Fuller in Tallahassee.
