The grand daddy of them all

Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the big one! The game. The big kahuna. Four quarters of crazy. The Super Bowl! Yes, it is finally here AFC versus NFC in the Tomahawk Nation Mock Draft series.

As Terrell Owens once famously remarked, “get your popcorn ready.”

As in previous editions the teams will be posted below with a poll for you to vote the winner. Voting will end tonight at 8 and we will announce the winner tomorrow morning. Needless to say this is for all the marbles and serious (or not so) bragging rights among the TN contributors.

Let’s get it on!

AFC Conference Champion

Representing the AFC we have the Miami Dolphins. (You know it is a mock draft if the Dolphins are in the Super Bowl.) The Dolphins have reached this point on the back of three first round picks. Tua Tagovailoa becomes the organizations star quarterback, Andrew Thomas and Isaiah Wilson will be staples at left and right tackle for years to come, and JK Dobbins will be a nice compliment in the backfield. Grant Delpit steps into the secondary as a dynamic weapon for Brian Flores defense. All in all the Dolphins, on paper, were able to get five starters and reboot their organization. That is an A+ haul of quantity, quality, and value.

NFC Conference Champion

In a surprise (I think homerish) upset the Tampa Bay Buccaneers represent the NFC. The Bucs big move this offseason was signing Tom Brady. Yesterday they dealt a fourth rounder for Rob Gronkowski. In the TN mock draft they were able to get Brady the best LT in the draft. Tristan Wirfs will be an all-pro LT for years to come and should help change the culture in the Bucs OL room. Neville Gallimore is a depth piece in the third round along with RB Zack Moss. Moss can run inside and outside and catches the ball out of the backfield. Sound like some backs that have played with Brady before?

Now it is time to vote! You tell us who the winner is.
