Update: Round two starts at 7pm. The expectation is that RB Cam Akers comes off the board in the second or third round. Stanford Samuels III may also hear his name called based on some mock drafts. Join us in the comment section.

Fans will finally get some sports tonight, but just virtually. The NFL draft begins tonight with the Bengals on the clock with the first overall pick. The draft will span three days, with the first round on Thursday, starting at 8:00 p.m., rounds 2-3 on Friday at 7:00 p.m., and the final four round starting at noon on Saturday.

The ‘Noles likely won’t have any first rounders, but star RB Cam Akers is expected to come off the board in day two. Akers’ combination of burst and power projects him as a starter on Sunday’s, but his pass protection could hinder his draft status. Defensive back Stanford Samuels III is also expected to be drafted, but his status is much less known. He has the size and ball skills to be a decent NFL player, but his speed could see him fall to the late rounds on day three. For his full draft profile, click here for Kevin Little’s analysis.

FSU has other graduating seniors that could hear their names called, but none are expected besides Levonta Taylor.
