Football:
Since returning to school the players have been allowed to participate in voluntary workouts. Yesterday marked a big milestone on the return of football — coaches were allowed to be present, and the conditioning drills aren’t voluntary:

FSU players and coaches are following the advice of the NCAA’s chief medical officer by wearing face coverings and doing their part to help ensure a season this fall. That’s important, because both SEC commissioner Greg Sankey and Pac12 commissioner Larry Scott made similar comments about the potential return of football:
SEC commissioner Greg Sankey on @finebaum: "We have to see a change in public health trends" to "have an opportunity to compete this fall."

The SEC's Greg Sankey is making the same points today that the Pac-12's Larry Scott made a week and a half ago. It's not just the amount of positive tests on an individual CFB roster. It's about society at large. Here's Scott: https://t.co/o2GwpNwLc9 pic.twitter.com/YPG1nvvGLJ

College football preseason (and, lets be honest, postseason) player rankings are usually so bad they’re funny, but Marvin Wilson is so good it’s hard to find anyone who disputes his talent:

With Washington’s NFL team and MLB’s Cleveland Indians both considering new names, the Tampa Bay Times’ Matt Baker took the time to help illustrate why Florida State University’s respectful partnership with the Seminole Tribe of Florida separates them from the current discussion of offensive Native American racial stereotypes. But that doesn’t mean FSU won’t eventually make other changes.
Honest analytics has always been one of the pillars of Tomahawk Nation, and I hope you’ve noticed our ongoing TN 2.0 project has included a renewed and at times groundbreaking focus on analytics as it relates to college football. That continues in this interesting piece that looks at the offensive efficiency of FSU’s dynasty teams from 1987-2000. Which team can lay claim to the best offense of the best run in college football history?
Happy Birthday to Jarvis Brownlee!

Bleacher Report dropped a 2021 Mock Draft and...Trevor Lawrence wasn’t the first QB off the board???
Recruiting:
Much like this FSU coaching staff, the TN Recruiting thread never stops.
The younger brother of Clemson star running back Travis Etienne picked up an offer from FSU. Will Trevor Etienne stay a three-star for long?
Deion Sanders was a big fan of Willie Taggart at FSU, and Deion’s son Shedeur Sanders committed to FAU last night, making him the Owls’ highest-ranked prospect in program history:

Other Sports:
What Leonard Hamilton has built at FSU is nothing short of jaw-droppingly remarkable:
