Football:

After a scrimmage over the weekend where the defense dominated again, the ’Noles were back at it yesterday. We also have player and coach interviews. Can the offense find its rhythm in the next three weeks?

In great news, a walk-on offensive skill player earned and was awarded a scholarship.

Has the team bought in to Coach Norvell? Sure seems that way:

Tomahawk Nation has finally debuted its own podcast, Seminole Wrap! Don’t forget to subscribe! You can find it on Apple, Spotify, and Soundcloud.

CoachAB brings you another edition of his Three (Over)reactions, this time for Florida State’s second scrimmage. James Blackman’s mechanics? Josh Griffis was unblocked?!?!?

Our Analytics team here at TN is doing groundbreaking stuff for college football that you can’t find anywhere else. Yesterday they published their latest piece, a 2019 ACC Passing Analysis. I really like this piece and I think you will too. Where does Blackman need to improve? Who are the best QBs in the ACC? This piece has some answers and the graphics are great.

Recruiting:

Tomahawk Nation’s official Tribe21 Recruiting thread.

Back in June, Cedric Baxter called FSU his dream school. Then he committed to Florida State on August 19th.

Other Sports:

The Softball team took their first steps toward a new season:

Alumni:

Absolutely ridiculous stuff here from Derwin James, going up against one of the league’s best route runners. As a Bucs fan I think Vita Vea is a good player, but you’ll never convince me the Bucs made the right choice in taking him over James:

Warrick Dunn is a saint, but that gray hair is making me feel old:

Vince Williams has had a pretty great NFL career:

Nigel Bradham has too, but his stint with the Saints didn’t stick long:

Auden Tate is having an excellent camp with the Bengals:

Jacques Patrick has been making some noise for the Bengals too:

‘Why not?’ is an excellent question:
