Our own Brian Cocolicchio dives into the the highs and lows of the last decade of FSU football and how it stacks up against some historically great squads.

Other conferences are beginning to announce their schedule plans for the upcoming season. It’ll be 9+1 for the Big 12:
The Big 12 scheduling model will include nine conference games and one non-conference game.
— ESPN College Football (@ESPNCFB) August 4, 2020
The model gives the league the flexibility to move back its conference championship game to Dec. 12 or 19. https://t.co/SSdNLqKrkJ
The Sun Belt is moving forward with the original schedule, but not requiring teams to reschedule potentially canceled games:
Sun Belt schools to play original 12-game schedules, including 8 conference games, sources told @Stadium. 1st report by @Keff_C. Teams not required to, but may replace canceled nonconference games as needed. Sun Belt title game could be pushed back 1 week to Dec. 12, source said

With both the ACC and Big 12 allowing for one non-conference game, Kelly Quinlan of Yahoo Sports expects both conferences to schedule several games with the AAC:
I expect the Big XII and ACC to schedule several games with AAC games with the AAC maybe going plus 2. Lots of good local games for both P5 leagues from the American. https://t.co/jbuAwST9pQ

Recruiting:
FSU offensive line coach Alex Atkins has the ’Noles in the top-5 for 2021 OT prospect Rod Orr.

The new LA Rams running back got to work in his new threads for the first time as the team begins workouts:
I’ve always enjoyed re-watching pregame speeches. Here’s a good one from EJ Manuel before the ’Noles hung over 500 yards of total offense on NIU in the Orange Bowl:
