Florida State football, recruiting news: The defense gets a boost

Anything can happen in rivalry games.

Who is interim head coach Chris Thomsen? We’ve got background on Florida State Seminoles football interim head coach for the rivalry game with Miami this weekend.

The Seminole Wrap podcast previewed the Miami game with a guest from State of the U.

FSU’s defense will be getting a big boost as a key player should return for the showdown with the Canes. That goes with the depth chart released for the game; some positions appear to be solidified.

Vegas has also released a spread for the game, with Miami favored by two scores.

But they play the games for a reason, and FSU practiced yesterday. Mike Norvell and Thomsen also spoke to the media. Norvell outlined his virtual involvement in practice and what he’ll be doing on gameday. Offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham will be the play-caller.
