Game week is here, and to celebrate, we’re bringing you two episodes of your new favorite Florida State Seminoles football podcast.
First up, we’ve got the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets side of things, getting the inside scoop via our SB Nation sister site From the Rumble Seat by speaking with writer Robert Binion. Make no mistake, though he isn’t shy about reminding us of traumatic Tech wins of seasons past, you aren’t getting a fanboy’s take — Rob’s got an honest look at the Yellow Jackets in Year 2 of head coach Geoff Collins, including who the site has heard will be starting at quarterback and the names to know on the defensive side of the ball.
We also briefly talk about James Blackman being named the starting quarterback vs. Georgia Tech, Tim gives a quick update on some #Tribe21 performances, Juan talks the decision to reverse course on tailgating for the opener and the fancy new Seminole Scholar patches, and wrap things up by naming our favorite happy moments from Florida State games after the cloud of 2015’s Kick Six hung over us the entirety of the episode.
(Spoiler alert: No coaches clowned Perry this week. We apologize in advance.)
We’ll back on Wednesday with an inside look at how Florida State should attack Tech’s scheme on offense and defense with Kevin Little (Xs and Noles) and updates from press availability.
