Florida State advanced to 11-0 (8-0 ACC) on the season with a win over North Alabama on Saturday, scoring 58 to secure a 58-13 victory in its home finale.

The achievement was overshadowed by the heartbreaking loss of quarterback Jordan Travis to a serious leg injury, which saw him carted off the field and transported to the hospital.

He posted a message to his Instagram Stories on Sunday, sharing that he was doing as well as he could.

“Just wanted to let you know I’m doing good, feeling good,” he said. “Got a smile on my face. Just gonna follow God’s plan. God has a journey for me. I’m gonna trust Him every step of the way. I appreciate y’all for all the messages. Go Noles.”

The Seminoles maintained their No. 4 ranking in the USA Today Coaches Poll but slipped behind No. 5 Washington in the AP Top 25, with the gap between FSU and the Huskies 43 points in the AP and eight in the coaches.

The top three in both polls remain No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes and No. 3 Michigan.

Next up for Florida State is a trip to Gainesville, where the Seminoles will face off against the Florida Gators (5-6, 3-5 SEC) in the latest edition of the Sunshine Showdown.

Florida is coming off a last-second loss to Missouri that saw the Tigers convert a 4th and 17 en route to a game-winning field goal. Starting quarterback Graham Mertz suffered a fractured collarbone in the loss, making the matchup a battle of backup quarterbacks.

According to DraftKings, the Seminoles are currently 6.5-point favorites over the Gators.
