The undefeated 4th-ranked Florida State Seminoles are in Charlotte, N.C. to face the 15th-ranked Louisville Cardinals tonight in the ACC Championship game. Florida State will be attempting to improve their College Football Playoff ranking by remaining undefeated and win their 16th ACC Championship as well. Louisville will be attempting to win their first ACC crown and to have the opportunity to represent the ACC in the bowl game.

On Friday Florida State head coach Mike Norvell announced that the status of quarterback Tate Rodemaker will be a game-day decision, saying that the redshirt junior is “working through the process” of what is assumed to be an undisclosed medical issue.

Should Rodemaker not be available, freshman Brock Glenn will make his first career start as a Seminole quarterback. Glenn, a four-star prospect and the 13th nationally ranked quarterback in last year’s high school class, came into the game in relief of Rodemaker for two plays last week during the win over the Gators.

Louisville finished their regular season at 10-2 overall, and 7-1 in ACC play this season under first-year head coach Jeff Brohm. The Cardinals are 5-1 this season in games decided by one touchdown or less

During its current 18-game winning streak, the Seminoles have outscored their opponents 718-310. The FSU defense has not allowed 30 points in a game this season, and the Seminoles rank in the top 15 in both scoring offense and scoring defense.

Florida State, who opened as a 5.5 point favorite over Louisville, is now favored by 1 point according to DraftKings.
