Florida State football, recruiting news: The NCAA’s selective punishment towards FSU is laughable

The last gasp of a dying organization as it clings to the last dregs of its once acknowledged relevancy.

Florida State against the world; well maybe not entirely but it hasn’t been easy as now the NCAA has pinched FSU.

First-of-their-kind NIL penalties are being handed down to the Seminoles, with the school being forced to disassociate from NIL collective Rising Spear as well as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Alex Atkins being dealt a three-game suspension to start the 2024 season.

The idea of punishing a team in the NIL era is laughable to me and I’m not the only that feels that way:

There’s a reason why I said selective:

Everyone is waiting for the domino to drop from Alabama’s coaching search.

Florida State continues to stay hot in the transfer portal as another four star offensive recruit has committed to FSU in the form of Terrence Ferguson; former four star offensive lineman from Alabama University and a top 50 national recruit in the class of 2022.

247Sports national director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong has placed a crystal ball in favor of Florida State to land four star defensive in 2024 recruit Amaree Williams.

Many thought FSU could land the blue-chip edge rusher in the early signing period after reclassifying but it looks like FSU might win that race a little later than expected.

FSU also officially announced Sione Lolohea:
