Florida State Seminoles football is bringing a classic look to the field when they take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish: white on garnet.
This marks the fourth different uniform combination that FSU has worn in as many games — against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, FSU went all-garnet. Against Miami-Florida Hurricanes, the Seminoles went all-white. Last week against Jacksonville State, Florida State wore its traditional home uniform.
“Obviously we have one of the great uniform combinations and traditions in all of college football,” head coach Mike Norvell said in early September.
“I think as we move forward, you could see some different combinations. That is something we will always evaluate and make sure that our uniform is celebrated as one of the greatest in all of college football. We want to represent our wonderful tradition.”
