Things largely stayed the same on offense, outside of Tamorrion Terry and Ontaria Wilson holding down sole starting spots at the receiver positions and Devontay Love-Taylor getting added as an OR on left tackle, while the defense still continues to search for players to step up and claim ownership of a position.
“If we’re rotating at positions, it’s one of two things,” defensive coordinator Adam Fuller said last week after FSU’s win vs. Jacksonville State. “Either we feel that they’re good enough to play or we’re still searching for answers at certain spots. Everybody that plays in the game, we think has a chance to help us.
“If guys don’t create more opportunities with their playing time, we’re just going to continue to roll and try to find the right rotation of guys that we can play the hot hand.”
