Seminole Wrap: Recapping Notre Dame

And also talking everybody’s favorite thing — moral victories!

Florida State Seminoles football got beaten by double digits by another top ten opponent — but things are looking up?

“This football team is continuing to grow,” Florida State Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell said.. “We are continuing to work our way through our process and I definitely believe in what the future holds. We just have to do a better job in all aspects – players, coaches, everybody – in applying the lessons that we are learning and the things that we are implementing throughout the course of the week. When you play good opponents you have to apply that for 60 minutes. There were some bright moments, but obviously we didn’t get the job done.

“At the end of the day, this is about going out there and competing to be the best that you can possibly be in all aspects.”

While Norvell and the team aren’t interested in talking moral victories, we are! What can be gleaned from FSU’s hard fought, but still big loss? Why is the defense allowing 554 yards, 353 of which were on the ground?

The Seminole Wrap is here to talk those questions, but also look ahead to FSU’s game against now No. 5 North Carolina, talk some recruiting and then also ponder when exactly Chris Fowler started hating the Seminoles.
