Another Monday, another edition of Inside: Seminole Football, the weekly call-in show with Florida State head coach Mike Norvell. Host Tom Block will interview Norvell live to begin the program, and later in the show there will be live interviews with an assistant coach on the staff and a player on the team.

The program will air locally in Tallahassee on ABC, and you can stream it here.

On Saturday, Florida State fell in South Bend to Notre Dame 42-26 to fall to 1-3 (0-2 ACC). The Noles will look to rebound quickly against one of the hotter teams in the country in #5 North Carolina. UNC is fresh off a 56-45 shootout win over Virginia Tech, racking up 656 total yards of offense in the process.

When Florida State and the Tar Heels kick off Saturday night there will be plenty of storylines, as UNC’s head coach Mack Brown (former FSU running back) and quarterback Sam Howell (former FSU verbal commitment) both have ties to the Noles.

Update: 8:06 PM

Viewers were treated to four segments with the head coach this evening, instead of the three normally allotted. Norvell gave his thoughts on the team’s resilient performance against Notre Dame, as well as what the defense can improve on. Norvell pointed out several players on both sides of the ball he thought played well against ND and who have shown themselves to be “leaders.”

Conversations then shifted to the receivers, as Tom Block was joined by wide receivers coach Ron Dugans as well as play-making redshirt junior Tamorrion Terry.

Dugans discussed Terry’s strong game against the Irish, what changes for the receivers with redshirt sophomore quarterback Jordan Travis now as the starter, and what FSU means to him personally.

Later, Terry talked more about his heart-to-heart conversation with Norvell a few weeks ago, as well as his long touchdown against Notre Dame.
