Florida State football rocking classic uniforms vs. North Carolina

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Don Juan Moore

Florida State Seminoles football is returning back to basics tonight against the No. 5 North Carolina Tar Heels — rocking the garnet and gold for the second time this season.

FSU has employed a variety of looks in 2020, wearing its classic combination just once so far this season (against Jacksonville State.) So far, the Seminoles have worn garnet on garnet against Georgia Tech, white on white against Miami and white on garnet against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

“Obviously [FSU has] one of the great uniform combinations and traditions in all of college football,” head coach Mike Norvell said a few weeks ago when asked about uniforms.

“I think as we move forward, you could see some different combinations...that is something we will always evaluate and make sure that our uniform is celebrated as one of the greatest in all of college football. We want to represent our wonderful tradition.”
