The Triple Option: Diving deep into FSU’s program-building win

What changed between last week and this week?

Florida State brought their game to a level not seen in these parts in at least a few years. The offense looked dominant for about a half and the defense seemed to be a completely different unit.

Well, in some ways, it was a completely different unit.

Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller has been moving pieces around trying to figure out where people fit. This process took definite strides on Saturday night. Let’s take a look at what kinds of changes turned this defense around and what we can expect to see in the future.

The tides seem to be changing for the Seminoles. Mike Norvell is consistently showing that he is the offensive mind he often gets credited for and if the defense continues to improve fans might get a different opinion of Adam Fuller by the end of the year.

Only time will tell — but in the meantime, FSU fans should just sit back and enjoy the moment.
