Football
We spoke with Florida State Seminoles football head coach Mike Norvell, as well as defensive line coach Odell Haggins, defensive back Jarvis Brownlee, quarterback Jordan Travis and defensive lineman Dennis Briggs Jr. Each continued on with the theme of the week, that the win against UNC showcased proof of concept, but work still needs to be done to make that product consistent.
Austin Cox took a deep dive into the history between FSU and the Louisville Cardinals — it’s a great read, but here’s the summary: Basically if Lamar Jackson wasn’t involved, it’s been trouble for the Cards.
The Seminoles are still an underdog to Louisville — though the spread has shifted all the way down to 4 from its initial -9 in Louisville’s favor.
FAU is in talks to play UMass — not that anybody here has a sick, concerning curiosity and investment in it or anything.

A bit of sad news in a year where we’ve already lost too many — Mario Henderson passed away yesterday, and was remembered by the fans, teammates and students that he had an impact on.
