Football:
Legendary head coach Bobby Bowden has contracted COVID-19. Bowden reports that he’s asymptomatic, and at his advanced age we hope it stays that way.
Mike Norvell makes me want to build a brick wall just so I can run through it:

Seminole Wrap podcast: Building blocks during a season of growing pains. Quarterback Jordan Travis won the job and gives the offense an identity it can build on.
Very excited to debut a brand-new film review series: The Triple Option, featuring CoachAB, Kevin Little, and host Trey Rowland. We’re always looking to bring you the best content, so we hope you check it out. They have a good time breaking down the Jacksonville State game.
True freshman running back Lawrence Toafili may be the best player on the offense — and he earned all-conference honors for his performance against Jacksonville State.
Senior defensive back Cyrus Fagan played against Jacksonville State, but that didn’t stop him from leaving the team after the game.
Head coach Mike Norvell spoke to the media yesterday following his first win as Florida State’s head coach. He spoke about Travis, Tamorrion Terry, and freshman tackle Robert Scott. We also heard from offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham, defensive coordinator Adam Fuller, and finally special teams coordinator John Papuchis.
Then last night Norvell did his Call-In Show, where he spoke extensively about the offensive line.
Florida State released their depth chart for the upcoming game against Notre Dame, and to no surprise there’s a new starter listed at quarterback. But that wasn’t the only change.
But right now that game is in jeopardy, as Notre Dame’s football program had positive covid cases this week. The Irish already have a large group of players in quarantine.
The kickoff time for FSU’s matchup with North Carolina has been announced.
Recruiting:
Tomahawk Nation’s hub for all things Recruiting!
Recruiting recap — keeping you up to date with high school recaps of FSU’s targets. Quarterback Luke Altmyer continues to be a beast.
Other Sports:
Florida State Baseball State of Recruiting: Catchers. Nobody does baseball coverage better than Tomahawk Nation’s Brett Nevitt, so if he writes it you’ll want to read it.
Honoring the career of “11”:

Alumni:
Former FSU soccer star Deyna Castellanos scored her first professional goal!
FSU legend Corey Simon had something to say:
All these folks talking about Fuller as a DC have very little if any knowledge about what he is actually doing. Relax people. Play makers are needed to make DC’s look good. This group is being coached hard. #EchoChamber

Dalvin Cook is one of the best running backs in the league:
.@vikings @dalvincook makes some of these runs look unreal. Could that many defensive players all miss? Contact Battles and freight train power with a nose for the endzone; yep, that’s #Dalvin #skol #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/VRaZFZpQWh
