Florida State’s Mike Norvell call-in show notes and quotes

Florida State head coach Mike Norvell joins host Tom Block for another edition of the coach’s weekly call-in show. Inside Seminole Football will begin at 7 pm, and will include three to four live interview segments with Norvell, followed by live interviews with an assistant coach on the staff and a player on the team.

Last week, FSU extended their losing streak to 3 games, falling to N.C. State 38-22 in Raleigh. Trailing 21-3 at the half in quarterback Chubba Purdy’s first career start, Florida State scored 19 in the second half. Both Purdy and fellow freshman quarterback Tate Rodemaker saw action.

This week, Florida State (2-6, 1-6 ACC) takes on #4 Clemson (7-1, 6-1 ACC) at noon in Tallahassee. Clemson is fresh off a bye, but lost their first game of the season two weeks ago to Notre Dame 47-40 in double overtime.
