Football:

The Triple Option: Florida State Seminoles football is an inescapable 2-6 and you are what your record says you are. But there are always silver linings, and the guys try to find them.

The staff still had to answer questions from the media yesterday after the loss to NC State and with the juggernaut Clemson Tigers on deck. Head coach Mike Norvell, offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham, and special teams coordinator John Papuchis all spoke. Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller will speak Wednesday. One hot topic was the play of true freshman quarterback Chubba Purdy, who made his first start.

Norvell also did his Call-in show and answered questions. With so many freshmen and sophomores playing, there’s a lot of opportunity for a young player to make the most of their opportunity and take control of a spot.

The Seminoles also released their depth chart ahead of the Clemson game.
