Florida State Seminoles football has had an up-and-down season, even considering the tumultuous offseason.

Three starting quarterbacks, injuries and a general rough transition into the third coaching staff in four years have FSU looking to establish an identity in all three phases — offense, defense and special teams.

While the emergence of Jordan Travis has aided the Seminoles on offense and the emphasis placed on special teams by Mike Norvell and coached up by John Papuchis having been obvious since two blocked kicks in the season opener, the defense has struggled to put together a consistent product as a whole and individually.

To break down the numbers surrounding the units, we welcome Saiem Gilani, Tomahawk Nation and CFBScrapr contributor. He breaks down some of the interesting stats around the offense, the concerning ones around the defense and overall trends within the ACC.
