Florida State head coach Mike Norvell joins host Tom Block for another edition of the coach’s weekly call-in show. Inside Seminole Football will begin at 7 pm, and will include three to four live interview segments with Norvell, followed by live interviews with an assistant coach on the staff and a player on the team.

The program will air locally in Tallahassee on ABC, and you can stream it here.

Fresh off their second bye week of the season, FSU had plenty of time to reflect following a 48-16 loss at Louisville two weeks ago. Halfway through the year, the Seminoles sit at 2-4 and 1-4 in the ACC.

Also off a bye of their own, Pittsburgh was blown out at home two weeks ago by #4 Notre Dame 45-3. After starting 3-0, the Panthers had a winless month of October to drop their record to 3-4 and 2-4 in the ACC.

Update: 8:08 PM

On tonight’s show we heard from Norvell, redshirt sophomore linebacker Jaiden Lars-Woodbey, and Florida State director of player development and operations Jeff Kupper.

The first-year head coach spoke about what the team worked on during the bye week, gave some injury updates, and talked about the challenges Pittsburgh presents this Saturday.

“I told the team how proud I was of them in their approach. I thought our guys did a great job in the work of trying to get better in all aspects. We had some good competition in all phases,” said Norvell.

Then, Lars-Woodbey discussed his community service and his work as a leader on campus.

Lastly, Kupper talked about what he sees in coach Norvell and the off-the-field work the team has done in 2020.
