Florida State football, recruiting news: Offers, offers, and more offers

Plus, a day off for the Seminoles to perform their civic duty.

Football:

Florida State Seminoles football had they day off yesterday due to the presidential election. In case you missed it on Monday, FSU released their depth chart and provided injury updates including a key offensive player being a game-time decision.

Recruiting:

5-star FSU cornerback commit Travis Hunter can get it done on both sides of the ball:

FSU offered Hueytown High School wide receiver De’Andre Coleman. The last Seminole out of Hueytown panned our pretty well for the ’Noles.

The Seminole staff continues their presence in the boot offering 2022 defensive back, and teammate of FSU commit Byron Turner, Jhamal Shelby.

Sticking with offering teammates of current commits, the ’Noles offered 2022 athlete JaCorey Thomas, who plays at Boone High School with defensive end Shambre Jackson.

Florida State also offered one of the country’s top 2022 linebackers, who will be narrowing his long list of offers to six this week.

Mike Norvell extended an offer to an in-state 2023 defensive back out of Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland.

Setting up shop at Lake Gibson, Norvell also offered their running back.
