Each week before Florida State home football games, a brand new edition of SodTalk is released on Seminoles.com. SodTalk is an interview with a former FSU football legend, reflecting on their career and discussing some of the memorable “sod games” during their time at Florida State.

Normally held outside the Florida State Sod Cemetery on gamedays, SodTalk was moved to an online format this season due to the pandemic.

This week for the FSU-Pittsburgh game, host and Keeper of the Sod Cemetery Doug Mannheimer sat down with legendary Florida State wide receiver Ron Sellers to talk about his career in which he starred for the Noles from 1966-1968.

One of the greatest wideouts in college football history, Sellers still holds numerous single-game and single-season FSU receiving records. Absolutely eye-popping statistics for his era, Sellers caught 211 passes for 3,598 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns in just 3 seasons (freshmen weren’t eligible).

Be sure to check out the full video of the latest edition of SodTalk.
