Florida State faces Pittsburgh at home inside Doak Campbell Stadium at 4 p.m. FSU will roll with their traditional uniform combinations against the Panthers: garnet and gold.
After reverting back to white numbers in 2020 for the first time since 2013, this will be the third game this season the Noles have donned the updated version of the classic look.
FSU has worn four different combinations so far this season. Against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, FSU went all-garnet. At Miami, the Seminoles went all-white. In the upset over North Carolina and also against Jacksonville State, Florida State wore its traditional home uniform. When FSU went on the road to Notre Dame, they rocked the white jerseys and garnet pants combination.
“Obviously we have one of the great uniform combinations and traditions in all of college football,” head coach Mike Norvell said in early September when discussing FSU’s uniforms.
“We want to represent our wonderful tradition,” Norvell said.
