Florida State Seminoles football had hoped to get a few player healthy during the bye week — and while one key player on offense is back, FSU will be missing out on a few.
Receiver Tamorrion Terry, who had a minor knee surgery a few weeks ago, is back and available, though defensive backs Travis Jay, Renardo Green and Hamsah Nasirildeen are unavailable, as well as defensive tackle Marvin Wilson and offensive lineman Andrew Boselli.
“Yes, [Terry and Nasirildeen] both participated [at practice this week],” head coach Mike Norvell said Thursday. “Let me say that we’re right there somewhere between 1 and 5, in my optimism [of them playing]. And I’m really excited about that number in my mind right now. But I don’t know what that number is, I’m not going to, I guess, put it out there for you.”
Florida State will have seven scholarship defensive backs available — three of which are either freshman or redshirt freshman.
Here is who currently is and isn’t available:
Marvin Wilson is out
Travis Jay is out
Hamsah Nasirildeen is out
