Florida State football, recruiting news: The transfer portal heats up

Football:

The big news yesterday — McKenzie Milton didn’t waste any time and made it official by signing with Florida State.

The Triple Option: Breaking down FSU’s big victory over the Duke Blue Devils. It doesn’t matter who you’re playing — putting up 59 points is impressive.

Florida State Practice Notebook: Head coach Mike Norvell and his coordinators addressed the media ahead of Florida State’s regular season finale matchup against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.

FSU also released their depth chart for the Wake game.

Running back La’Damian Webb, who previously opted out of the rest of the season back on December 2nd and appeared to indicate an intent to return, will indeed leave the FSU football program to transfer to Troy.

Defensive tackle Cory Durden will also be transferring, but he’s staying in the division. Durden entered the portal back on December 3rd:

The Atlantic Coast Conference has officially announced their new commissioner, James Phillips, who will take over in February.

It’s funny cause it’s true, but FSU’s offensive line has come a long way and might be one of the offense’s strengths next season. Meanwhile, Washington can’t play in the Pac12 title game due to a covid breakout, so Oregon will take their place:
