Florida State Seminoles football secured its third win of the season vs. Duke last Saturday, mostly off the strength of its tailbacks and the running ability of quarterback Jordan Travis.
“The versatility of our running back position is something that we take pride in,” head coach Mike Norvell said Monday. “That got pushed to an all-time extreme on Saturday. We want them to impact the game by any means necessary.”
“[The offensive linemen] have worked. They have been pushed extremely hard throughout the course of practice. To see the confidence that is emerging. To run for over 300 yards and a lot of explosive plays, excited about that.”
As far as the potential of Wake Forest being the final game of the season, not just the regular one, Norvell said the team is taking things day by day.
“Our focus right now is on this week,” Norvell said on the possibility of participating in a bowl. “We are trying to take care of everything one day at a time with our growth. We’re excited to be able to play this game this week, so that is where all of our focus is going to be.”
Today, we’ll be hearing from Norvell, as well as other members of the team. You can follow along both in the comment section and on our Twitter, and in the meantime, drop any questions you have in the comments and we’ll try to get to them.
