Florida State football’s staff was set to have two openings at the end of January, but that is no longer the case. Per a report from Brendan Sonnone of 247Sports, both Odell Haggins and Ron Dugans have received one-year extensions from FSU.

Both coaches’ contracts were set to expire at the end of this upcoming January, but their contracts now run to January of 2022. The report indicates that the extensions occured in July of this year, before the 2020 football season occured.

Haggins and Dugans were the only two holdovers from Willie Taggart’s staff to Mike Norvell’s. Haggins is the defensive line coach and has been the interim head coach twice in the last four years. Dugans is the wide receivers coach. Both Dugans and Haggins are former Seminole football players.

Haggins has been on staff since 1994, and is expected to receive $550,000 in 2021, per the report. Dugans is currently in his second season coaching at Florida State.
