Florida State football safety Hamsah Nasirildeen announced today that he is declaring for the 2021 NFL draft.
Nasirildeen returned to Florida State for his senior season in 2020 after a leg injury late in the 2019 season. He returned to action late in the season, as he saw limited snaps against N.C. State. After a three-week layoff, Nasirildeen looked like his normal self against Duke, snagging his first interception of the season.
The former four-star finished his Florida State career with 234 total tackles. He was a second-team All-ACC member in 2019, after recording 101 total tackles. He posted four interceptions and three forced fumbles in his four-year career.
In his announcement, Nasirildeen wrote, “The support I have felt during my time in Tallahassee, especially after my injury, and the investment made in me by so many people was remarkable. I will always be part of the Seminole Family, and it is with a thankful heart that I am announcing my intention to declare for the 2021 NFL draft.”
