3-star OL Kimo Makaneole decommits from Florida State

‘Noles now have two OL commits in ‘21 class.

Offensive lineman Kimo Makaneole has decommitted from Florida State.

Makaneole originally committed as soon as he received an offer from FSU back in July. But since his commitment, the offensive lineman received offers from the likes of LSU and Ole Miss, which have seemed to sway the recruitment.

The Niceville, FL native is ranked the 28th offensive guard in the 2021 class, and the 551st best player in the country. He’s a composite three-star and the 73rd ranked player in the state.

The Seminoles now have 18 members of their 2021 recruiting class, with offensive linemen Bryson Estes and Rod Orr both signed to play for Alex Atkins at the next level.

“‪Being that I have the greatest respect for you and your program; I am informing you now that I am looking elsewhere to go to school and compete,” the Niceville prospect posted on Twitter.

Stay tuned to TN, as we’ll have more on Makaneole soon, and, as always, make sure to talk all things FSU recruiting in the most recent recruiting thread.
