Florida State Seminoles football is set to take on the Duke Blue Devils for the first time since 2017 on Saturday — the first game in Tallahassee between the two schools since 2012.
For the first time since the Seminoles took on Jacksonville State, FSU enters the game as a favorite. Currently, Vegas Insider has FSU as a 3.5 point favorite with an over/under of 57. The Seminoles opened as a 3 point favorite with 58.5 this week — though Duke was favored by the same matchup for the postponed game that was set to be played in Durham.
Game notes, via FSU Sports Info
- FSU and Duke first played in the Seminoles first season in the ACC, in 1992, and met every year from 1992 to 2007.
- While FSU has never shut out Duke, the Seminoles have held the Blue Devils to single digits seven times, including each of the last two meetings...
- FSU’s perfect 20-0 record against Duke are by far its most wins against any opponent without a loss. In fact, FSU has at least five wins without a loss or tie against just five teams.
