With plenty of time to reset, Florida State now looks forward to a two-game end to their season with games versus Duke and at Wake Forest. Today we will hear from FSU head coach Mike Norvell as the team prepares for their final home game of the season Saturday against the Blue Devils.
“We are excited about the opportunity with Duke this next week being able to come to Doak,” Norvell said last week. “Then the trip the following week to Wake Forest. Knowing we are going to get to end the regular season with two more conference opponents. It is a different year with scheduling and all of those things. But I am grateful for the opportunity to play.”
“These guys are competitors. We are a young football team. We’re one of the youngest teams in college football. We need every rep that we can get. I understand the challenges that come with that, but our guys are excited about being able to go through a week and implement a plan to do all you can to prepare for a game. When that’s taken away from you, it is emotional...we want to play.
