Monday night, the Reese’s Senior Bowl official account tweeted a message indicating Florida State defensive back Hamsah Nasirildeen would participate in the annual scouting event:

Nasirildeen’s commitment indicates that the Florida State senior will declare for the 2021 NFL Draft even with a potential extra year of eligibility. The former four-star recruit and No. 1 prospect in North Carolina has played just once this season (at North Carolina State) due to a knee injury he sustained during the 2019 finale vs. Florida. He recorded four tackles and .5 TFL in that matchup at NC State.
The 22-year-old earned all second-team ACC honors in 2019 after recording 101 tackles, three fumbles, and three pass breakups. According to Seminoles.com, the Concord native was the first Seminole since 1990 to record multiple 17+ tackle games in a single season. In October, Nasirildeen was ranked 4th amongst safeties on Pro Football Focus’ NFL Draft big board.
FSU has struggled mightily on the back end in the senior’s absence this season.
