The Autopsies:

Seminole Wrap podcast — After years of trying to rebuild, why does Florida State Seminoles football still look as bad as they do? Kevin Little from our Four Verticals crew guest-stars as we try to figure out how and why the program feels stuck.

Speaking of, our Four Verticals scheme team took a look at the film from the Miami game and broke it down with analysis. Where does the team go from here? Is there any hope moving forward, and if so, how do we get from here to there?

Moving forward:

There were some interesting changes to FSU’s depth chart ahead of a must-win game against Jacksonville State. We did the work for you and broke down what those changes could mean going forward.

With FSU being 0-2, we’re looking for progress this season. The ’Noles took to the practice field again yesterday, and we got availability and interviews from head coach Mike Norvell, offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham, as well as defensive coordinator Adam Fuller.

The latest injury report is out: updates on Robert Cooper, Travis Jay, and quarterback Chubba Purdy. Is Purdy close to being able to play?

Norvell wasn’t able to be there in person for the loss to Miami, but he took questions last night from his call-in show, and took the opportunity to make glowing remarks about a freshman that saw the field late in the game.

The game time and channel for FSU’s game this weekend against Jacksonville State is out.

Despite a season-ending injury, transfer tight end Jordan Wilson doesn’t have any regrets:

FSU could really use his services right about now.

UF Gator quarterback Kyle Trask is just as annoyingly good at miraculously converting every third down as he was last year, and their luck last weekend in their season debut ran deeper than I knew:

Recruiting:

Tribe 21 Recruiting thread. FSU recently landed blue chip OT Rod Orr.

We’re keeping track of Florida State’s recruits’ high schools seasons, and good lord is quarterback Luke Altmyer having a good season.

A slew of former players had a lot of perspective to share on the program:

A good cause:

The goat of good causes:

Defensive end Josh Sweat finally looks like he’s recovered from the devastating injury he suffered in high school:

Timmy Jernigan suited up for the Jaguars a bit last Thursday against the Dolphins, but he’s never really recovered from a back injury he suffered a couple seasons ago:
