Florida State football held their first practice of their bye week this morning. The ‘Noles will hold two practices this week, focusing on fondumentals while also rehabbing many players. Mike Norvell met with the media after practice to discuss the Seminoles’ Tuesday practice.
Norvell said the ‘Noles got in quality work today, but was disappointed with some players’ level of focus. The head coach praised Malik McClain for not just his touchdown, but the downfield blocking that he showed at North Carolina. He was also excited with the way Jordan Travis protected himself in Chapel Hill and the way he practiced today.
FSU’s soccer coach Mark Krikorian was out at practice today. Norvell also went to the Seminoles’ soccer game on Sunday to watch FSU top Miami. Norvell spoke on their relationship and the things that Krikorian has taught him about building a program.
