Florida State football hit the practice fields this morning for their second practice of the bye week. Yesterday, head coach Mike Norvell was not pleased with the team’s intensity and focus. Today, Norvell was very pleased with the team’s response and intensity. “I thought our guys responded, better intensity, focus,” said Norvell. “I thought today we responded and got some good work.”
The head coach mentioned that today’s practice was focused on the young guys and giving reps to players who haven’t seen much game time to give them opportunities. He also mentioned that much of the team will likely go home this weekend to spend time with their families.
Norvell and his staff are expected to take advantage of the bye week by hitting the road to recruit. He mentioned that he’d be on the road at practices and games from tonight to Saturday night.
