WATCH: Mike Norvell speaks after Tuesday’s practice

Florida State football opened up UMass game week with their first practice of the week this morning. After practice, head coach Mike Norvell met with the media to detail Tuesday’s practice and look ahead to the Minutemen. Norvell was pleased with his team’s effort and believed they got better on the day. Here’s some of what Norvell had to say this morning:

“I thought today was a really good work day. I was impressed with the guys’ attitude. The minute we came in at 7:10 this morning, our guys had a good bounce in their step in meetings, walkthroughs. I thought we got better today. There are still some things we got to clean up. It’s a Tuesday, we had some specific game plan wise but you could see the intent. You could see the work and that's something we’ve been challenging our guys with each week to continue push to get better. I thought we did get better today.”
