Florida State football will put their three-game winning streak on the line in Death Valley this weekend. The Seminoles will face the Clemson Tigers on Saturday at 3:30 PM. The Tigers are 4-3, but have won 31 straight games at home. FSU held their second practice of the week this morning. After practice, head coach Mike Norvell spoke to the media to talk preparations for the Tigers. Here’s some of what Norvell had to say:
“Thought it was a solid day today. Continuing to push situations, work installations. Continue to push the consistency of what we need throughout the course of a practice.”
“Thought there were good moments and there were moments that we just got to continue to have that focus and the detail of how we need to operate. Thought there were some improvements made, some mistakes that were made that we have to have corrected.”
“I like how the week is progressing, I like the energy that I’m seeing, and in meetings and how we’re starting the mornings. It’s going to be a great challenge for us going into a hostile atmosphere.”
“All in all we had a good day, but still a lot of work to do before Saturday.”
“Are our guys excited to play this game? Yes. I feel that. There’s a sense of urgency in all things that we’re doing, but that needs to be the identity of who we are.”
“Last year’ situation was so unique in itself. There’s a lot of emotion. When you prepare for a game, everybody wanted to play the game. There’s emotional comments that get made, but everybody’s passionate about what we do.”
