Florida State headlines as the Pro Football Focus Team of the Week after a dominating 59-3 win against UMass last Saturday. Redshirt-freshman Jarvis Brownlee Jr. had the honor to break the rock after his pick six in that matchup.

Ninth year defensive back Xavier Rhodes is this weeks NFL Nole Spotlight after securing a much needed win for the Indianapolis Colts with one interception and four tackles on Sunday Night Football.

The Los Angeles Chargers secondary have prided themselves as one of the best in the league, staring FSU alums Asante Samuel Jr. and Derwin James. Both ballhawks have put on a show throughout the season and they discuss how the duo came to be in the new interview below.

Basketball

The NBA has been officially been put on notice that Scottie Barnes is one of the best rookies from the 2021 draft class, showing incredible ability on both ends of the floor for the Toronto Raptors. Barnes is the second leading scorer in the rookie class currently averaging 16.8 points per game with a 56% field goal percentage.

Class of 2022 combo guard Chandler Jackson is officially down to his final two college options in the Florida State Seminoles and Tennessee Volunteers. He’ll make his commitment this Friday at 3:30 CT. Jackson is a four-star guard with fantastic strength and athleticism that would fit coach Hamilton’s system like a glove.

Soccer

The Noles will host the top-ranked Virginia Cavaliers tonight at 7:00 ET for their final game of the regular season. This will be a big test for Florida State as they come into the matchup with a tie and loss in their previous two matchups. Tune into the ACC Network to watch the Seminoles on Senior Night.

Baseball season is just around the corner as the Seminoles host Troy University this Saturday at 12:30 ET for their second exhibition game of 2021. This will be the final matchup against another university before the season starts on February 18th.
