Florida State football fell in heartbreaking fashion to the Clemson Tigers by a score of 30-20 on Saturday evening. The Seminoles led with three minutes remaining in the game, but late penalties doomed them. The offensive could never really find their rhythm against a stout Clemson defense. FSU’s defense stepped up time and time again, but couldn’t get the final stop they needed. After the game, QB Jordan Travis, RB Jashaun Corbin, and DT Robert Cooper each spoke to the media. Here’s some of what they had to say:
Jordan Travis
“It’s upsetting. We work really hard during the week. We’re in a game like this in a stadium like this and we’re in the game working hard and it hasn’t been like that in a while.”
“It’s obviously good that we’re in games and playing hard, but man, losing sucks. We just got to come back this week and work harder.”

Jashaun Corbin
“It’s tough. We’ve just got to find a way to finish the game. We were up, we just got to find ways to keep the lead and handle the swings of a game and we’ll be fine moving forward.”
“Everybody’s disappointed. But it’s a new week, moving onto NC State and getting back to work.”

“It don’t feel any better, but you can tell we’ve made some improvements. Past few times we’ve played here, it hasn’t been this close. We had some improvements tonight, but little things, we got to work on them.”
“I feel like we played pretty good. I feel like we started kind of slow because we gave them those 17 points to start off.”
