After losing in dramatic fashion to the Clemson Tigers, Florida State Seminoles football will look to get back to its winning ways vs. the NC State Wolfpack at home.
According to DraftKings, Florida State is a 2.5 point underdog to NC State.
Florida State is 26-14 all-time against NC State. The Wolfpack won the last matchup by a score of 38-22 in Raleigh last season. FSU was victorious in the last game at Doak Campbell Stadium in 2019 with Odell Haggins as interim head coach in a 31-13 win.
The Wolfpack are 6-2 on the season after a hard-fought win vs. Louisville. They’re 3-1 in conference play. Both of their losses this season have come on the road.
From our SB Nation sister site Backing the Pack:
NC State deserves a lot of credit for how it responded to a difficult first half—because that was a really difficult first half. NC State could not run the ball for shit, and it felt like most of the time that Louisville dictated the entire terms of this game.
This could have turned out a lot differently, given that this was essentially a coin flip at halftime, but NC State showed that it is in fact better than this Louisville team. Louisville killed NC State’s running game, but NC State eventually decided that throwing the ball was a good idea, and the Wolfpack defense showed up big.
