Florida State, a 17.5 point underdog before kickoff to North Carolina, currently leads the Tar Heels 21-10 at halftime.

After a slow start by both the offense and defense, the Seminoles came alive, relying on the ground game to establish identity and quarterback Jordan Travis taking advantage by both hitting a 53-yard touchdown run to pull FSU ahead, as well as tossing a 32-yarder to Ontaria Wilson to pad the lead.

Wide receiver Malik McClain scored his first career touchdown to get the Seminoles on the board and ignite the 21-point run.

A big reason for the Seminoles’ success? Self-inflicted wounds on the part of the Tar Heels, who have 75 yards of penalties.
