“One of our better Wednesdays.”

The Florida State Seminoles were back on the practice fields Wednesday morning as they continued preparation for the NC State Wolfpack. The ‘Noles will take on the Pack at 4:00 PM on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium. NC State was ranked the No. 19 team in the country in the initial College Football Playoff rankings. After practice, head coach Mike Norvell spoke to the media to discuss the upcoming matchup with the Wolfpack. Here’s some of what he had to say:

“Thought today was a good day. Guys came out, thought they had a good spirit, good competition in the speed work. One of our better Wednesdays.”

“It’s something we challenged our guys with at the beginning of the week, on that consistency. It wasn’t perfect, there’s still some things we got to get cleaned up.”

“It’e been a little bit of a challenging week. We’ve had some guys that have been out of practice. Some bugs are going through. It’s one of those things being on a college campus. I think even when guys haven’t been feeling 100%, they’ve come out and worked hard.”

“Really proud of the mindset and the developing growth that I’m seeing from this team as they’re working through.”

“(Renardo Green) is coming along. It’s been a challenge. Played early, had a couple set backs. He’s worked really hard these last few weeks, I think he’s going to be available this week... I like what I’m seeing.”
