Football:

Commit Analysis: I know these technically belong in the Recruiting section but it just feels like talkin’ ball belongs here in the football section, where the football gods intended it. First up, CoachAB breaks down the tools and skills blue-chip QB commit Nicco Marchiol puts on display.

Then Coach makes it a twofer as he also gives us his insightful analysis of fellow 2022 commit, edge defender, and legacy Aaron Hester.

Recruiting:

Official Tribe21 Recruiting thread — believe it or not, but tomorrow is the last day of Tribe21 before we officially move on to Tribe22. Such is recruiting.

With Mike Norvell and company relying heavily on the transfer portal to raise the ceiling of this team, don’t miss out on Transfer Portal talk.

Dan Mullen and the Gators doing weird things in recruiting? You don’t say:

Other Sports:

The Men’s Basketball team dropped a smidge in the Top 25 polls.

In case you missed it, catch the great basketball podcast that previews the matchup with Boston College before the ’Noles tip off against the Eagles tonight at 9pm. Unfortunately, the game won’t be played — or the next two either — as FSU appears to be dealing with COVID issues within the program. Still check out that podcast, though.

The ACC intends to keep its schedule:

The Seminoles Baseball team returned to practice and can I just say Brett deserves a standing ovation and maybe a medal for his coverage of this team.

18 Days till FSU Baseball: As if that wasn’t enough, Nevitt continues his countdown with another preview, this time it’s pitcher Hunter Perdue.

FSU’s Track & Field team finished the Bob Pollack Invitational with a bunch of wins and some personal bests.

FSU’s Diving team finished their regular season and will compete in the ACC Championships in a few weeks.

The Women’s tennis team is ranked No. 8 and dominating, while the Men’s team is on a COVID pause.

Alumni:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are playing in the Super Bowl for the first time since a ’Nole alum(s) led them to the Lombardi Trophy:

Soccer alum Jaelin Howell looks like a future USWNT player.
