For a breakdown of how each unit on the team performed, here is a quick-hitter on the highlights from the game. FSU had an impressive list of 2022 and 2023 recruits visiting Tallahassee today. For more recap from the game, check out our game thread and live on-site updates.

FSU head coach Mike Norvell interview

Norvell on spring football: “Every [team] in the country is saying the same thing right now, talking about ‘what we can be.’ I’m not interested in the talk — I want to see it.”

Norvell on the quarterback room: “I felt really good about the quarterback room. These guys have all shown that they are growing and getting better...Jordan Travis has had a phenomenal spring...Those guys are going to push each other.”

Norvell on first-team offensive line: “We’ve had some guys in and out, and that’s part of it. The fundamental development is something that is big. I like where our guys are headed. You see them developing. These guys, they are hungry.”

FSU quarterbacks McKenzie Milton (senior) and Jordan Travis (redshirt sophomore)

Milton on freshman wide receiver Malik McClain: “He’s just a stud. He’s years ahead of his age. He’ll be making a lot of plays for us this year. He’s extremely special.”

Milton on learning the offense: “I still feel like I have a lot of room to grow. Continuing to learn each day. We’ve been putting in a lot of installs. Summer is going to be big for all of us. Diving into that playbook until its second nature.”
